Before the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic shutdown, Sawhorse was able to slip one build in – a day-long build in partnership with Seattle Parks & Rec’s O2 Program for youth. They learned the essentials of many tools as they assembled and customized Sawhorse’s second tool trailer shelving units.

We were grateful to share this day with our extended community – including one O2 student who had previously built with Sawhorse, and their program leader Hannah Narramore, an early Sawhorse alum! Of the group on site for the trailer build, at least one student continued on in Sawhorse programming even when our programs went virtual.
