PROJECTS
EASE.L House
Our women’s-only program designed and built a new tiny home for those experiencing homelessness in Seattle, lovingly dubbed the “EASE.L House”. Students presented their building plans to members of Nickelsville community after completing a semester-long design process led by field professionals from Olson Kundig. The same students and designers worked with professional builders, led by Katie Walker of JAS Design/Build to bring the shelter to life.

Throughout this yearlong program, students worked with an amazing counselor, Jocelyn Skillman, to explore questions of women’s leadership and communication in the workforce and society at large.
