Students built out animal pens and a chicken coop for a unique Seattle landmark, the Seattle Children’s Playgarden. This immersive space is designed to be inclusive to a diverse range of youngsters, and features a garden, jungle gym, and classroom.

One of the main features of the Playgarden has been its Chicken Coop and Rabbit pens. Sawhorse partnered with the Playgarden to give these areas a much needed redesign. Students worked with Sarah & lead builder Teggart Edwards, plus a whole host of great counselors, to create a snazzy new area for the wildlife to live in, complete with a longer outdoor rabbit run and a fun fountain.
