Salvage House I

Our Impossible City project continued with this tiny home, built completely from second-hand and salvaged materials. The Salvage House was built by students primarily from Franklin High School in south Seattle.

Students worked with Sarah and contractor Scott Bishop (of Schuchart/Dow) for ten weeks in the spring of 2016 to complete this clever structure. It boasts corrugated steel siding on one side and salvaged materials from the Seattle Art Fair. The house is now inhabited at the new tiny home village for those experiencing homelessness in the Othello neighborhood of Seattle.
